Merge Images Online Free
CombinePix puts multiple pictures in one frame without leaving the browser. Add a batch of shots, choose a ready-made layout, and every photo lands in its own slot at the right size. Nothing is rendered on a server, so the page appears as you work and you can swap a photo, reorder a slot or change layout without starting again. When it looks right, export a clean PNG for screens or a PDF for print and save it to your device. It is free, it needs no signup, and the photos never leave the tab you are working in.
Your photos are processed in this tab. Nothing is uploaded.
How to combine photos into one image in 3 steps
Upload your photos in one go
Select up to 50 photos in a single pass — a folder from a trip, a class list, a product set — and they arrive in the tray together. Batch upload means one action instead of fifty, and the order can be changed before anything is placed.
Pick a layout
Choose the slot count that matches your set, 5, 7 or 8, and a shape: square, landscape or portrait. If you only have two shots, side by side is the simpler start. Every layout is already sized for a standard print, so what you see maps straight onto paper.
Export as PNG or PDF
Save a clean PNG when the image is going on a screen. For paper, export a PDF: on Pro it is written at 300dpi with crop marks at the corners, so a print shop knows where to trim; on the free plan it is 150dpi, which is enough to check the page before you pay for a print.
Layouts, slots and export formats
Templates are built around slot counts, so you start from the shape you need. Batch upload up to 50 photos once and the layout fills the slots in order; swap two afterwards, or take one out and the rest close up.
5, 7 and 8 slot templates
Five slots suit a short recap, seven holds a week or a class group, and eight fills a page without crowding it. A photo strip template takes that idea to a tall page.
Square, landscape and portrait
Square pages post well, landscape suits a wide screen or a printed sheet, and portrait fits a phone or an upright page. Pick the shape first; the slots reflow inside it instead of stretching your photos.
PNG and PDF output
PNG is the screen format: sharp, clean, small enough to send. PDF is the paper format: a page sized to the sheet, at 150dpi on the free plan and 300dpi with crop marks on Pro. Both come from one layout, so export twice without rebuilding.
Why use CombinePix
Four things make a photo combiner worth opening twice: it takes a whole batch, it knows print sizes, it exports properly, and it keeps the files on your machine.
Batch upload up to 50 photos
Fifty photos go in at once, so a whole event lands on one page without repeating the same upload fifty times.
Templates that already fit a print size
Every layout is drawn for a real sheet, so the page you see is the page that prints, edge to edge.
Print-ready export with crop marks
The Pro PDF comes out at 300dpi with corner marks, which is what a print shop asks for before it will trim.
Nothing leaves your browser
Your photos are read in the tab, so there is no upload and no copy left behind on a server.
Common uses for a photo combiner
{esc(USES_LEAD)}
Family photo sheets
Five or eight family photos on one sheet, ready to print, frame or send to relatives who still keep paper.
Travel and event recaps
A batch of holiday or party shots on one page tells the story of a week better than a folder of separate files.
School and club photo boards
Class groups, teams and club members on one page make a noticeboard sheet that is easy to print and pin up.
Print-at-home photo pages
Set the sheet to the paper in your printer and print multiple photos on one page without a trip to a shop.
Client proofs for small studios
A studio can send one page of proofs instead of twenty attachments, and a PDF at 300dpi is ready to approve.
Photo gifts and cards
Print a page, trim along the marks, and the slots become inserts for a card, a calendar or a small frame.
Merge Images FAQ
Is CombinePix free?
Yes. The free plan costs $0 and does not expire. Every template is free, batch upload goes up to 50 photos, and you get 1 clean export a day; after that, exports carry a small corner mark and the PDF is capped at 150dpi. Pro removes the corner mark, lifts the daily limit and unlocks a 300dpi PDF with crop marks. Pro is $4.98 a week, $9.80 a month (55% less than weekly) or $59.80 a year (49% less than monthly). Nothing else about the tool changes, and no account is needed to use it.
Do I need an account?
No. CombinePix works without signing up, and no email address is needed to export. An account is planned for people who want a paid plan attached to them across devices, but everything on this page works today without one, and nothing is stored against an email address.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
No. The photos you choose are read in the browser tab and the page is assembled on your device. There is no upload step, so no copy of your photos is stored on our side. Close the tab and nothing is left to delete.
How many photos can I combine at once?
Up to 50 in a single project, uploaded in one batch rather than one at a time. The 5, 7 and 8 slot templates use a subset of that batch, and you can swap which photos fill the slots without uploading again.
What layouts can I choose?
Three slot counts, 5, 7 and 8, in three shapes: square, landscape and portrait. That gives nine starting points, and each one is drawn for a standard print size. Layout also covers how slots are arranged, so two templates with the same count can look quite different.
Will my photos be cropped or stretched?
Neither, unless you ask for it. Each slot keeps the proportions of the photo that goes into it, so nothing is squashed. Where the shapes do not match, the photo is fitted into its slot and you can nudge it to choose what stays in view.
What file do I get — PNG or PDF?
Both are available from the same page. PNG is a clean image for a screen: a message, a listing, a slide. PDF is the print file, at 150dpi on the free plan and 300dpi with crop marks on Pro. Export one, then the other, without rebuilding.
Can I print the result at 300dpi?
On Pro, yes: the PDF is written at 300dpi with crop marks at the corners, which is what a print shop wants before it trims. On the free plan the PDF stops at 150dpi, fine for a proof but soft for a shop. That is the main reason people upgrade.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The page and the tools run in phone, tablet and desktop browsers, and the layout adapts to the screen you are on. A batch of photos can be combined on the phone they were taken with, then exported and shared from the same device.
Can I use the image commercially?
You keep the rights to the image you make, and commercial use is allowed. Make sure you hold the rights to the photos you put in, and that anyone recognisable in them has agreed to that use. CombinePix cannot check either, and the export does not grant rights you did not have.
